§ Mr. Edward ShortA number of people have written to criticise or ask about this campaign. The reason for it is that many people post 3d. greetings cards too late for them to arrive in time for the birthday or other occasion. This is because 3d. items are liable to be deferred in favour of letters and cards with 4d. stamps, which are given a better and more regular service in return for the extra charge
