§ Mr. Costainasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what action he is taking to ensure that training in the several disciplines of the building industry takes place within the same establishment, and where possible with common syllabuses or parts of syllabuses.
§ Mr. Gordon WalkerConsiderable progress has been made on these lines. Both the Ordinary and Higher National Certificates in Building have been revised in recent years with the needs of the various relevant disciplines in mind.
