§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State. for Scotland if, in connection with the assessment of compensation for recent storm damage to property of all kinds, he will list the headings of rent against which insurance cover at normal terms was not available or was unusual; and in 162W such cases of loss what compensation will be paid in each heading of rent.
§ Mr. Ross:The availability of property insurance is not basically related to the rents paid for the property or for parts of it. The only restriction, of which I am aware, is on the insurance against loss by owners of tenement property with a low market value.
