§ Mr. Maurice Macmillanasked the Minister of Health what estimate he has made of the total cost to local authorities 67W of providing health visitors, home-nursing and other home-help, respectively, under part III of the National Health Service Act 1946, in 1964, 1965 and 1966, and of the amounts which were recovered by local authorities from the persons availing themselves of such help.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe figures for health visiting, home nursing and domestic help are as given below. The National Health Service Act, 1946 does not provide for charges to be made for health visiting or home nursing. Other local health services also benefit the patient in the home, for example, the mental health domiciliary services.
