asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government which are the 20 drill halls in England and Wales for which loan sanction has either been ordered or promised in respect of their acquisition by local authorities for use as sports centres.

  • Nelson Street, Dalton-in-Furness.
  • Rotherham Road, Eckington.
  • Hemnall Street, Epping.
  • Burt Terrace, Gateshead.
  • Old Bedford Road, Luton.
  • Springfield Road, Northfleet.
  • Shirley Road. Ripley.
  • Bolingbroke Street, South Shields.
  • Manchester Road, Southport.
  • Booth Street, Stoke-on-Trent.
  • Flixton Road, Urmston.
  • Riverview Road, Wallasey.
