§ Mr. Tom McMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, in view of the need for a new out-patient department, advance planning that has taken place and the extent of acquisition under compulsory purchase order, if he will reconsider his decision to postpone the starting date of the first phase of rebuilding Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
§ Mr. RossIn a letter which I sent the Western Regional Hospital Board on 29th January I suggested that 1971–72 was the earliest date by which the necessary preliminary planning for this scheme could be completed and the site made available for redevelopment work to start. My letter invited the Board to let me have its observations on the proposals it contains.
