Mr. Bob Brown

asked the Minister of Health (1) if he will state the number of medical practitioners per 10,000 of the population in the Northern Region compared with the figures for the rest of England, England and Wales, England, Wales and Scotland, the whole country and South-East England, respectively, at the latest available date;

(2) if he will state the number of medical practitioners per 10,000 for the population in Newcastle-upon-Tyne compared with the figures for South-East England, the rest of England, England and Wales, England, Wales and Scotland, and the whole country, respectively, at the latest available date.
