§ Mr. FreesonIn the interests of the best economic use of energy resources, I am anxious that district heating should be considered for such developments. The Government Departments concerned are consulting together on this subject, and I take every suitable opportunity to encourage district heating by public authorities. For projects which are not the Government's direct responsibility, publicity about the potential of district heating is, at present, the most valuable way to ensure its consideration.
