Mr. Ted Fletcherasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether, in view of the present economic situation and the capacity of West Germany to meet the cost, he will now formally notify the West German Government that unless the full costs of stationing British forces in West Germany is met, these forces will be withdrawn.
