§ 96. Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will provide a financial incentive to hospital authorities to rationalise and reduce their costs and to encourage redeployment of their resources.
§ Mr. Ennals:Hospital Boards already have this incentive. Any savings in running costs as a result of redeployment of services or improvements in efficiency are available to the Board for development of their services.
