§ Sir W. Bromley-Davenportasked the Minister of Transport whether he will 407W give an assurance that all the main organisations representing road users will be consulted about the new edition of the Highway Code which he proposes to issue in 1970; and whether he will consult the horse-using interests about the provisions of the current Code which oblige some horses to use the left hand side of the road and others to use the right hand side.
§ Mr. Marsh:The main organisations representing road users, including horse-riders, were invited in January this year to comment on the draft Highway Code. They will be consulted again when the Code is next revised.
