§ Mr. Leslie Huckfieldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services to what extent the recently built boiler house at the George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, was planned in order to provide a district hospital for the Nuneaton area.
§ Mr. Ennals:The present boiler house was opened in 1958, before the present concept of a district general hospital was established. A third boiler was installed there in 1966 to provide services for the new maternity hospital: there is some spare capacity.
