§ Mr. James Davidsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce legislation to ensure that individuals who are proved in court to possess knowledge that a crime has been committed and who have wilfully concealed this knowledge or destroyed relevant evidence shall be guilty under Scottish law.
§ Mr. Ross:No. The Lord Advocate and I consider that the law of Scotland is already adequate to deal with persons who attempt to pervert or defeat the course of justice.
