§ Q14. Mr. Spriggsasked the Prime Minister if as co-Chairman of the 1954 Geneva Conference he will seek to obtain a balanced report of the Vietnam war, and the economic aid which will be required shortly.
§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, who is the co-Chairman of the Geneva Conference, keeps under constant review all information available to him on the Vietnam war. It is however too early to assess what aid may be needed by Vietnam after the war.
