§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to recruit teachers to Her Majesty's inspectorate from candidates other than those whose main or only experience has been gained from teaching intellectually gifted pupils in secondary schools.
§ Mr. RossI would refer my hon. Friend to the observations which I laid before the House yesterday on the recommendations in Part II of the Report on H.M. Inspectorate by the Select Committee on Education and Science.
