§ 77. Mr. Leadbitterasked the Minister of Power what forecasts he has made of energy requirements for the next eight years, of the share in these requirements for coal, oil, gas and nuclear power, and the amount in volume attributable to the four sources of power, respectively.
§ Mr. MasonI have nothing to add at this stage to the information published in the White Paper on Fuel Policy (Cmnd. 3438). Monitoring of energy developments is part of the normal work of the Ministry. I will tell the House if it should lead to any change of policy.
