§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsThe recommendation to increase the standard rate charged by technical colleges for industrial training was made by the associations of local authorities, and conveyed by the Department on their behalf to local education authorities. The associations did not recommend any increase in the deemed proportion. Local education authorities do not notify me of their intentions with regard to guidance of this nature.
