In addition, school buildings to the value of £0.2 million under the special programme 198W for educational priority areas were allocated to the West Riding for 1969–70.

Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give the names of the primary schools which were scheduled to be built in the Dearne Valley constituency for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971, respectively, and have now been deferred; and when these schools will be included in the building programme.
