§ Mr. FreesonThe estimated maximum potential demand on the C.E.G.B. system increased by 3. 7 per cent. between 1966–67 and 1967–68. The Board's planning is based on the Electricity Council's load forecast, published last March, of 54,000 megawatts by 1973–74, an average growth rate of 7. 2 per cent. per year. The forecast for 1972–73 is 50,600 MW.
