HC Deb 09 December 1968 vol 775 c55W
Mr. Goodhart

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many Army Reservists, showing officers and other ranks separately, will be required to bring all British Army units and formations up to war establishment; and how many additional officer and other rank Reservists it is estimated will be required for the replacement of early casualties in 1969, 1971, 1973 and 1975.

Mr. Boyden

The answer to the first part of the Question is about 6,000 officers and 54,000 soldiers. It would not be in the public interest to provide figures in answer to the second part.
