§ Mr. Awdryasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will state the amount of betterment levy collected up to 30th September 1968 by the South Western Regional Office of the Land Commission; and what were the running costs of that office to the same date.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonFrom 6th April, 1967 to 30th September, 1968 the amount of betterment levy collected by the South Western Regional Office was £398,000 on account of a total assessment of £671,000. Staff costs of £235,400 are attributable to the land transactions of the Commission as well as the collection of levy.
