HC Deb 05 December 1968 vol 774 cc525-6W
40 and 41. Mr. Edelman

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will approve pro- posals to rebuild St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Primary School, Coventry, which was built in 1916 and is at present in a dilapidated and decaying condition which is a hazard to the health of the children;

(2) whether he has studied the memorandum on conditions at St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Primary School, Coventry, sent to him by the hon. Member for Coventry, North, on behalf of the parents' association of that school; and if he will approve proposals designed to ameliorate these conditions, which are a danger to the children's health.

Miss Bacon

The authority and the managers have taken steps to remedy the conditions criticised by parents at this school. The question of a satisfactory site for a new building for the school is still under consideration.
