§ Mr. Marksasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what proposals have been submitted by the Lancashire Education Committee for the reorganisation of secondary education in its Division No. 24, Ashton-under-Lyne, etc.; and when the proposals will be implemented.
§ Miss BaconProposals for the establishment in the Division of ten comprehensive schools for pupils aged 11 to 16 and of a sixth form college were approved in May, 1967, and I understand that the Local Education Authority hope to implement the scheme in September, 1972.
