§ Mr. Elystan MorganMy right hon. Friend took advantage of a recent meeting with chief officers of police to review the working of Part I of the Act at the end of its first year. The police have been exercising their new powers in a 539W fair and sensible way, and have fully sustained their enforcement of this important measure.
