§ Mr. Harold LeverThe Government Broker operates only in the London Market. Because of the size of operations and the need for close and continuous contact with the authorities on the conduct of operations it would be impracticable to place official business on the Edinburgh and Glasgow Stock Exchanges, but these Exchanges are closely linked with the London Stock Exchange.
