§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the outcome of his talks with MacBraynes about the change in the steamer connection between Stornoway to the mainland from Kyle of Lochalsh to Ullapool.
§ Mr. RossI have received no formal proposal for such a change from MacBraynes, and there has therefore been no cause for me to have substantive discussions with the company. I understand that the company is considering the merits of an Ullapool terminal, but
