§ Mr. Winnickasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will introduce legislation to give tenants of multi-occupied furnished lettings the same security of tenure as unfurnished tenants under the Rent Act, 1965.
§ Mr. MacCollI hope that it will be possible in due course to secure a closer integration between the codes governing furnished and unfurnished lettings, although the problems of security of tenure are not identical in the two cases. My right hon. Friend cannot, however, promise to introduce further legislation at this stage.
