§ Mr. Gardnerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, what sums were allocated to district councils in Nottinghamshire in respect of rate relief for domestic ratepayers in 1966–67 and 1967–68.
§ Mr. SkeffingtonI understand that my hon. Friend is referring to the domestic element of the rate support grants which 25W in 1967–68 secured a reduction in the rate poundages paid by domestic ratepayers of 5d. in the pound in respect of dwelling houses and 2d in the pound for mixed hereditaments which are predominantly residential. There was no similar rate reduction for domestic ratepayers in 1966–67.
