HC Deb 11 April 1968 vol 762 c336W
Mr. Loveys

aked the Minister of Transport whether he will make a statement about the fatal accident at the manned and gated railway crossing at Blackley Lane, Fishbourne, Near Chichester, on 12th March.

Mr. Marsh

I understand that at the coroner's inquest on the 9th April a verdict of misadventure was recorded, and that the jury added a rider about the crossing gates. I have asked the Railways Board for their comments on the rider as urgently as possible.
