§ 52. Sir J. Gilmourasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what estimate he has made for a full year of the increased cost to Scottish agriculture arising out of the increase in licence duty for tractors and agricultural machines.
§ Mr. BuchanI estimate that in a full year the increase in costs to farmers in Scotland as a result of the higher excise duty on tractors and agricultural machines will amount to about £70,000.
