HC Deb 10 April 1968 vol 762 c251W
56. Mr. Small

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what grants have been made available to the city of Glasgow for demolition of shelters; and what progress has been made to date.

Dr. Dickson Mabon

About £400,000 last winter. I understand that this has enabled the Corporation to complete the demolition of all the remaining public and communal shelters in the city—some 1,220—and of about 500 small domestic shelters.
