asked the President of the Board of Trade what steps he is taking to ensure that the fullest possible use will be made of Leconfield Airport for the operation of civilian air services by Autair International Airways.

Arrangements have been made for limited operations by Autair International Airways from Leconfield this summer. As part of the general consideration being given to replacing Brough, the Board of Trade are examining with the Ministry of Defence the possibility of further civil use being made of Leconfield.
