HC Deb 09 April 1968 vol 762 cc228-9W
Mr. Marten

asked the Minister of Overseas Development what economic assistance will be spent in Anguilla in the year 1968–69, and on what projects; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Oram

Up to £50,000.

Most of this will be spent on completing projects recently restarted, mainly on prefabricated school buildings and school furniture, an ice plant and cold store, the airfield and road improvements. I expect the rest to go on the first stage of an outline development plan recently drawn up to provide basic infrastructure for the island.
