HC Deb 08 April 1968 vol 762 c184W
Mr. Marten

asked the Minister of Health what proposals he has to relieve the pressure on geriatric services in the Banbury area; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. K. Robinson

The appointment of a consultant in geriatric medicine and the establishment of a day hospital have already improved the geriatric service in the area. The completion of a new geriatric ward at Horton General Hospital later this year will make possible the transfer of some patients from unsatisfactory accommodation at Neithrop Hospital.
