HC Deb 08 April 1968 vol 762 cc198-9W
Mr. Whitaker

asked the Minister of Overseas Development what proportion of Great Britain's gross national product is now being given in overseas aid, excluding private investment, pensions and compensation.

Mr. Oram

If the items mentioned are excluded, net official aid—i.e. excluding amortisation—amounted to 0.43 per cent. of United Kingdom G.N.P. in 1967, with G.N.P. calculated on the revised basis arising from U.N.C.T.A.D. II.
