§ Mrs. McKayasked the Minister of Social Security what response local authorities, voluntary organisations and churches have made to Her Majesty's Government's circular acquainting them with the recommendations of the Women's Group on Public Welfare Report on the Social Problems of Loneliness; when the report to the House will be made; what social policy is envisaged; and what social services are being planned or established to overcome this social ill.
