Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland why the 1966 Annual Report of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary for Scotland was not available until October, 1967 and if he will take steps to ensure that the 1967 report is published in good time.
§ Mr. RossThe preparation and checking of statistical material, including additional material designed to make the tables more informative, took longer than was expected, and publication was then further delayed by printing difficulties.
Good progress is being made on the report for 1967; and I hope it will be published well before the Summer Recess.
