§ Mr. William Edwardsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether tax reserve certificates will be accepted in payment of the special charge.
§ Mr. DiamondPersonal tax reserve certificates will be accepted in payment of the Charge, notwithstanding that the Charge is not referred to in the prospectus for the certificates. Subject to the normal 24 months' maximum, interest in108W such cases will run to 1st January, 1969, that is, the date for payment of the Charge.
