§ Mr. DiamondPayments of Selective Employment Tax by the tax-bearing sector since 5th September, 1966 up to the end of March, 1968 are estimated to be approximately £9 10s. per head in England and £6 10s. in Wales. The comparable figures for the regional employment premium since 4th September, 1967 up to the end of March, 1968 are 7s. 6d. and £1 10s.
