§ Mr. Gregor Mackenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, what plans have been prepared for secondary school building in Rutherglen and Cambuslang; when such projects are due to commence; and when he expects completion.
§ Mr. RossLanarkshire Education Authority expects to start work next month on the first phase of a comprehensive school to serve Rutherglen and Cambuslang and to have the school ready for session 1970–71. I understand that the Authority has long-term plans to provide a second comprehensive school for this area.
