asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement on the negotiations which are proceeding for the placing of orders for merchant vessels in this country by the Argentine Government.

As far as is known, no negotiations are proceeding for the placing of orders for merchant vessels in this country by the Argentine Government.
