§ 61. Mr. Websterasked the Minister of Power what steps he is taking to ensure that there is safety from gas leaks in the Banwell district of Somerset.
§ Mr. FreesonThe South Western Gas Board have re-routed round Banwell their high pressure bulk supply main which formerly ran through the village. There is now only one gas main through the main streets and this is working at low pressure. Maintenance work on the joints of this main is about to be completed.
