Jacksonasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the recent decision of the West Riding County Council to reject the recommendations of their Health Committee proposing the establishment of a network of family planning clinics, he will use his reserve powers under the National Health Service (Family Planning) Act, 1967.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonIn my circular to local health authorities on this matter I called for reports by 31st March on action taken or proposed under the 1967 Act. I shall consider the need for further action in the light of these reports, including that from the West Riding County Council when I receive it.
