§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government when, following the proposed publication in the spring of a White Paper on the improvement of old houses by installing baths, hot water and inside lavatories, he expects to introduce legislation to accelerate the making of such improvements.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend thinks it desirable that there should be reasonable opportunity for consultation with interested bodies on the proposals once they have been announced, and he hopes to introduce legislation after that as soon as the Parliamentary timetable permits.
