My own and my Department's contacts with industry are maintained through the C.B.I. and the T.U.C. and through the representatives of both sides of industry serving as members of the National Insurance Advisory Committee and the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council. There is also close contact with both sides of particular sections of industry, e.g. mining and shipping, on social security matters peculiar to them.
