HC Deb 01 April 1968 vol 762 cc45-6W
Mr. Oakes

asked the Minister of Social Security on how many occasions the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council met during 1967; and what was the approximate length of each session.

Mr. Loughlin

The main work of the Council is carried out through specialist sub-committee meetings. The full Council met once during 1967. The sub-committee met on five occasions. The proceedings and conduct of the Council and its subcommittee are matters for themselves but I understand that meetings last for approximately two hours.
