§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe recommendations of the Speaker's Conference on Electoral Law, which on this point recommended no change in the law for parliamentary elections, will, when complete, be considered as a whole by the Government; the implications for local elections will be examined in the forthcoming review of local election law.
