§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether, in order to integrate traffic and urban-planning, he will set up a permanent joint committee with the Ministry of Transport which would plan comprehensively on Buchanan principles.
§ Mr. MacDermotA Joint Committee already exists and the two Departments are undertaking joint studies on urban planning and transportation matters. I am considering with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport how these arrangements can be strengthened still further.
