§ Mr. RossOn my recent visit to Orkney and Shetland I was able to discuss economic and social problems, to visit industries, farms, schools and hospitals and to meet medical authorities and the local Councils of Social Services, as well as representatives of local authorities. These meetings were of value in enabling me to assess problems at first-hand and discuss them with the local people.
