§ 75. Mr. Tilneyasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs whether, since the last by-election in Gibraltar showed that there is considerable support for integration with Great Britain, the possibilities of such integration with Great Britain will be included in the terms of reference of the coming constitutional talks.
§ Mr. George ThomsonAs already agreed the Integration with Britain Party will be able to participate in the forthcoming discussions and express their views. But Her Majesty's Government do not themselves favour integration, which would present formidable difficulties both for Gibraltar and for Britain.

§ Mr. George ThomsonIf by roundtable conference the hon. Gentleman means a conference including represen-374W tatives of all parties in Parliament, I see no occasion for such an exceptional arrangement.
